Ideas

Public Area: tp possibly include
  • Guidance to anyone on how to put together a request for help from the club

Lions Club Social Page: to possibly include
This area to include a programme of proposed social events throughout the year. For example the Social Secretary could occasionally invite speakers from charities, organisations, clubs etc that want our support.  They are invited to give us a talk so we can better decide as a club how much we want to support them. Or we invite those  we have supported to talk to us about what they are doing and how our support has helped them in the past.
e.g.
March: Social meeting at The Ship with a speaker coming to talk to us about their charity, SARA.  This is a volunteer lifeboat and inland search and rescue charity, with 7 lifeboat and rescue stations along the length of the River Severn
May:  Pub games evening at ??  (Bookshop volunteers, and partners, friends also invited?)
June: Talk by Air Ambulance

July: Quiz night
Aug: Outdoor Bowls - Requested Kevin to ask his club in Alveston (27/07/2023)

Sept:  Indoor Bowls evening at the Leisure centre
Nov: Beetle drive
Dec: Christmas Dinner for Lions, Bookshop volunteers &
their partners @ The Anchor Inn
Canal Boat Trip?

Membership Area to possibly include:
  • Bookshop Manning Rotas
  • Volunteers List of names & contact details
  • Health & Safety
