Helping Great Western Air Ambulance Charity
Once again this Easter the Thornbury Lions Club ran an Easter Egg raffle in aid of the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.
Raffle tickets were sold in the Thornbury Lions Bookshop as well as in several locals pubs & restaurants.
Thank you to everybody who bought a ticket and congratulations to all the winners of the giant Thorntons Chocolate Eggs.
With your support we raised a magnificent sum of money and this total was rounded-up by the Thornbury Lions Club to £1500 and a cheque was delivered to the local GWAAC shop in Thornbury High Street.
A special thank you goes to the 7 pubs & restaurants who agreed to allow us to place an egg and to sell raffle tickets in their establishments.
