Members of the Thornbury Lions Club enjoyed their annual Christmas meal at the Anchor Inn in Thornbury. 
A wonderful time was enjoyed by all that attended.

Thornbury in Bloom - 5th July 2025

We support TiB every year and sponsor the Pump Flower display on The Plain.  The photo below sees the TiB volunteers flanked by our incoming president, Paul Wilkinson, on the left and our outgoing president, Pete Fish, on the right.

Thornbury Lions are proud to have supported Alan Lambourne of the Olveston & District Bowls Club with funds which enabled the club to offer disabled people the chance to take up bowling. Alan was the leading light for his club's initiative and has subsequently won a Bowls England Diversity Award.  You will find more details below about Alan's achievement.
